Sightlines’ QVQ Process

Sightlines’ credible and extensive base of information is created using our QVQ Process—Quantify, Verify, Qualify. Although many techniques exist to document various processes, Sightlines is the only company that visits each campus yearly to collect data and ensure accuracy. The QVQ process has provided Sightlines with the largest database of verified information in the country. It is this process that enables Sightlines to turn Data into Information, Knowledge, and Action.

Benefits of the QVQ Process:

Value. As a result of the QVQ Process, Sightlines members are able to demonstrate the value—or lack thereof—attained from current facilities resources or environmental initiatives.

Validation. Sightlines Membership Services have been used as independent validation of organizational strengths and weaknesses. Members are able to separate fact from fiction and discover root causes for underperforming areas. With such independent validation, members are more able to “make the case” for changes in funding and processes.

What If? The information generated through a ROPASM or Go-Green Measurement and Analysis can serve as an effective and credible base of knowledge for “what-if” modeling. Sightlines can use this information to forecast the implications of changes to resource allocation, project deferral, or the physical asset profile.
